A mes̱nevī of 150 couplets on the death of Prophet Muḥammad's son Ibrāhīm (d. 10/632) from his Copt wife Māriya (d.16/637). According to the story, Ibrāhīm dies because the Prophet is asked to choose between his son and his ummah.
Although Ibrāhīm
died as an infant, the story portrays him as a child in the age of school. In his work, ʿĪsā states that he
took the subject of his work from a work named the Sirācu'l-ḳulūb.
