Notes

A mes̱nevī consisting of 2795 couplets which follows the general content of the Bakhtiyārnāmah (History of the Ten Viziers) texts in Persian and Arabic. It consists of nine gatherings, including nine stories told by a sultan’s not yet identified son to save himself from execution. It also contains ghazals in various meters. The orthography of its manuscript indicates that the work was composed in the 14th century [1300-1399 CE].
