A mes̱nevī consisting of 2795 couplets
which follows the general content of the Bakhtiyārnāmah (History of the Ten Viziers) texts in Persian and Arabic.
It consists of nine gatherings, including nine stories told by a sultan’s not yet
identified son to save himself from execution. It also contains ghazals in various
meters. The orthography of its manuscript indicates that the work was composed in
the 14th

appears in the colophon for another codex, the manuscript appears to be a later copy

the orthography of which indicates that it may have been written in the 14th century. With
the prophet’s permission, ʿAlī b. Abī
Ṭāli goes to fight an unjust ruler in India. After fighting successfully by himself for a
long time, he gets help from the prophet and the companions. They take over the
fortress and return to Mecca with
