- Biographical notes
- Born in İznik, he lived during the reign of Murād II (824/1421-855/1451). Little is known about his life, but he is recognised for his work the Sī-nāme (نامه سى), which translates Emīr Ḥüseynī Sādāt el-Ġūrī (d. after 729/1329)’s work by the same title. He is also known for a nazira that he allegedly wrote for the Qasida of Salmān Sawajī (d. 778/1376) (ساوجي, سلمان).

- According to Ḳınalı-zāde Ḥasan Çelebi (d. 1012/1604), this work is the translation of a work by the same title wrotten by another Hümāmī that lived in Persia. The only manuscript of the work remains to be studied for correct attribution.
