The Tuḥfetü’l-Leṭāyif is an Old
Anatolian Turkish prose prophetic biography or sīra, with consisting of 15 sections,
including a separate section on the Prophet Muḥammad’s
Ascension or mirʿāj. Abdülbaki Çetin demonstrates that this work is revised version
of the author’s Leṭāyifü’l-ḳudsiyye,
rewritten specifically with the author’s Aydınid patron, Umūr Paşa. in mind. The work survives in a unique manuscript
