This Persian commentary on the Fusus al-Hikam of Ibn ‘Arabi appears only to survive in an Ottoman translation by ‘Abdülmecid Sivasi entitled
Mekasid-i Envar-i Gaybiye ve Mesa’ id-i Ervah-i Tayyibe, مقاصد انوار غيبيه و مصاعد طيبه غيبيه (this is the form given in the Nuruosmaniye Ms,
but the Süleymaniye catalogue gives the title Mekasid-i Envar-i ‘Ayniye)
Tokat , 812? The copyist of Sehid Ali Pasa states he copied the work from an
autograph made in Tokat in Jumada I 812. However, our extant autograph, , contains no information
as to date or place of composition.
