- Biographical notes
- Author of the first large scale Turkish translation of Mawlānā Jalāl al-Dīn Rūmī’s Mas̱navī. He lived during the reign of Murād II and was a Mavlavī. He had a shaykh named ʿAbdurraḥīm, who could possibly be Merzifūnlı Şeyḫ ʿAbdurraḥīm (d.865/1465), disciple of Zayn al-Dīn al-Khawāfī (d.838/1435), the founder of the the Zayniyya. Muʿīnī praises the latter several times in his work.
