This work has been misdated by some scholars to the seventeenth century, but the dedication to Mehmed‏ I,‏ Sultan of the Turks,‏ 1389-1421‏ السلطان محمد الأول means it must have been composed during his reign, 1413-1421 [1413-1421 CE]. The book contains ethical advice (ilm-i ahlak).
The text is known to have been composed by Aḥmed b. Hüsāmeddīn el-Amāsīاحمد بن حسام الدين الاماسي between 811 AH [1408-1409 CE]and 824 AH [1421-1422 CE]
The work is also known to have been dedicated to Mehmed‏ I,‏ Sultan of the Turks,‏ 1389-1421‏ السلطان محمد الأول
