Notes
A mes̱nevī consisting of 420 couplets, composed in 781 AH [1379 CE]. It is the story of the son of an impoverished merchant, who wins the hand in marriage of a sultan’s daughter by going through a difficult test. According to Amil Çelebioğlu, a manuscript of the work consisting of 350 couplets was donated to the Milli Kütüphane in Ankara by Vasfi Mahir Kocatürk. The manuscript remains unidentified.
