- Notes
- A narrative of the life of Prophet Abraham from his birth to his death. The work incudes a section of 194 couplets on the Battle of Çamurlu between Meḥmed I and his brother Mūsā. It also contains poems in ġazel and ḳaṣīde form. The Ḫalīl-nāme ends with a section named the Miʿrāc-nāme-i Seyyidü’l-beşer, consisting of 567 couplets in the same meter. It narrates the ascension of Prophet Muḥammad. Although some scholars have considered this section as a separate work, the narrative on Abraham's descendants immediately preceeding it as well as its formal qualities do not support this assertion.
