Notes
An encyclopaedia dedicated to an unnamed person who, at the time of the composition of the book in 669 AH [1270-1271 CE], commanded the fortress of Qara Hissar in present day Afyonkarahisar İli (Turkey). He is referred as the Amir Sipahsalār of the region
The work is divided into 12 sections and sub-divided in discourses detailed in the preface
In the preface of this book the author mentions that he was the disciple of his father Muḥammad bin al-Qāz̤ī, محمد بن القاضی. The date of composition is given in f. 156r is Muḥarram 669 [1270 CE] and an alternative date is provided also in f. 156v as 3rd Rajab 681 [1282 CE]
