A treatise on mysticism in mas̲navī form imitating the work in Persian called Gulshan-i rāz (گلشن راز) by Maḥmūd ibn ʻAbd al-Karīm Shabistarī, -approximately 1320, written in the early 14th century [1300-1350 CE]. The author begins with a commentary on some verses of the Qur’ān and traditions attributed to the Prophet Muḥammad
The manuscript is dedicated to Murad II, Sultan of the Turks, 1404-1451
The manuscript is incomplete but there is another copy in Vienna
